From inception the core of Al-Usrah activities center on giving Dawah; knowledge acquisition and dissemination in line with the Quranic model of the prophet of Islam, Muhammad ibn Abdullah (saw). Al-Usrah Dawah is technologically driven targeting all cadre of Muslims; Professionals, Artisans, Civil Servants, Students etc. within her operational base. Al-Usrah also targets non-Muslims within and outside the state in a knowledge-based evangelism at returning mankind to the worship of the true and one God, Allah.

Sunday Halqah

The Sunday Halaqah is the main Dawah instrument at reaching the members of the organisation who are of diverse background and occupation. Thus, Sunday remains the only day to get a sizable number of members together in the masjid. It is the oldest Dawah method Al-Usrah has been using to educate her members on their duties and obligations as Muslims. The program is structured into quarters with each quarter having a theme as a central learning focus. During Ramadan, this program intensifies, concluding with an Eid-ul-Fitr picnic.
